Postseason soccer, volleyball tourneys begin
Ten local soccer teams and seven volleyball teams will play in their respective district tournaments this week. All of the tournaments begin today or Tuesday and will conclude by Friday.
There are six tournaments in all: two for volleyball, two for boys soccer and two for girls soccer. The winners and runners-up in each advance to regional tournaments. The 12th Region volleyball tournament will be played next week at Lincoln County; sites for the 15th Region boys and girls soccer tournaments will be determined based on this week’s district results.
