Into the hoops homestretch
The All “A” Classic is in the rear-view mirror and the second week of February is well under way, which means that the final days of the high school basketball season are upon us.
The regular season ends Feb. 19, with district tournaments around the state starting two days later. And because all of the pairings for districts that include Advocate-area team are seeded according to records within the district, this is a good time to see where everyone stands in those races.
Here are the current standings in each district, with each team’s district record followed by its overall record, along with any remaining intra-district games:
