Local wrestlers at state meet
Ten wrestlers from Boyle County and Danville are scheduled to compete in the State Wrestling Championships, which begin today and continue through Saturday at Frankfort Convention Center.
The wrestlers qualified by finishing fourth or better at last weekend’s 2nd Region Championships at Central Hardin. Thirty-two wrestlers will compete in each of 14 weight classes.
Boyle entries: Zack Cope (135 pounds), Kody Wade (145), Devin Reynolds (152), J.P. Robbins (160), Kody Socco (171). Alternates: Lucas McCain (103), Ean Daly (112), Hunter Sheegog (119), Dallin Tritapoe (140), Bryan Ferrell (215).
Danville entries: Daniel Lannum (112 pounds), Carson Coulter (119), Blake Bowman (125), Rhodes Bell (160), Devin Lynn (171), Cody Kitchen (189). Alternate: Elliot Porter (285).
