Football scrimmage time
With opening night just eight days away, most Advocate-area football teams are playing scrimmages against outside opponents this week. Some of these games have been announced and some haven’t — the point is in trying to hold a scrimmage in secrecy these days is beyond me — but here are the ones that are already “out there:”
Today
- Lexington Christian at Garrard County, 6 p.m.
Friday
- Casey County at LaRue County, 6 p.m.
- Casey County vs. Campbellsville at LaRue County, 7 p.m.
- Green County at Mercer County, TBA
