Mercer’s opener a Saturday game
Your schedule might say otherwise, but the Mercer County football team will open its season Saturday night in a bowl at Campbellsville.
The schedule posted on the KHSAA scoreboard originally listed the Titans’ lidlifter against Breathitt County as a Friday game, and a schedule posted on the team’s Web site, mercertitans.com, still does. However, the game will be played on Saturday at Campbellsville’s Fryrear Field as the second half of a doubleheader that opens with LaRue County playing Campbellsville.
