Danville’s Taylor makes All ‘A’ all-tourney team
Jacody Taylor of Danville was named to the 12-man all-tournament team at the All “A” Classic.
Taylor, a junior guard, had 49 points in the Admirals’ two games in Richmond, including 28 points in their first-round win over Williamsburg. He was the team’s leading scorer in that game and in their loss to eventual champion Shelby Valley.

It’s good to hear that the All “A” Classic will remain in Richmond for at least the next three years, as the tournament chairman announced Sunday.
For selfish reasons, it’s an easy trip to watch local teams play there. (Not so much Friday night, but most of the time.) But it’s also a good venue for this tournament, and Eastern Kentucky University and Richmond have been excellent hosts right from the start.
