Danville’s All ‘A’ sectional game scheduled
The Danville baseball team won the 12th Region All “A” Classic for the seventh time in eight years earlier this week, but because only eight teams advance to the statewide All “A” tournament, the Admirals must still win one more game to make it to Applebee’s Park for the May 1-2 state tourney.
The Admirals will play 11th Region winner Lexington Christian in a sectional game, which will be played at 6 p.m. April 23 at Admiral Field.
