I had a busy and abbreviated week last week, meaning I didn’t have time to post anything on here. My fiance and I also had engagement photos taken on Saturday, so I missed some weekend events in Garrard County. However, the Sefcaks did not miss the events and took plenty of photos.
You can see Karla and Gary’s albums of photos from the Come Sit a Spell chair auction Saturday evening here, photos from the opening of the Garrard County Farmers Market here, and photos from cleanup of an illegal dump site here.
There’s a Lancaster City Council meeting tonight at 7, at which a couple of things are expected to be discussed: 1) the council might have word on whether the Garrard Food Pantry will have to relocate at the end of June, and 2) John Wilson is attending to talk to the council about its support for solid waste and why Lancaster is expected to contribute $10,000 annually to the solid waste budget (last month the council voted to give only $2,500 contingent on Lincoln County cities coming up with $7,500). I’ll have some info up here tonight after the meeting, and a story or two should be in tomorrow’s paper.
