Deborah Messenger just announced she will be stepping down as president of the Paint Lick Sportsman’s Club at the end of the year. From her resignation announcement:

It is with quiet reflection, this 29th day of October 2010, that I’ve come to the decision to resign from my board position as president with the Paint Lick Sportsman’s Club effective December 31, 2010.

The last twelve months have been filled with uncertainty not only for the Club’s building and organization, but for my family as well. The year has been filled with days of great accomplishments and rejoicing, as well as weeks of incredible stress and helplessness. Looking down the road that lies before my family, I know my time away from home will be restricted. The Paint Lick Sportsman’s Club, Inc. needs a president who can move the community center forward as it continues its 55 year legacy. Reviewing my personal responsibilities, I acknowledge I will be unable to devote the time and energy to accomplish this re-birth and re-growth of the PLSC.
