George Rogers Clark has installed new scoreboards at Norton Gymnasium. The Cards open the regular season Tuesday against North Laurel. Tipoff is set for 7:30 p.m.

Received word today that Clark sophomore center Travis Purvis tore his ACL during practice Tuesday and will be out for the rest of the season. Covering the Eastern Kentucky-Winston Salem State game here at McBrayer Arena and discovered some interesting tidbits. Winston-Salem’s coach is Bobby Collins, a former player at Eastern who graduated in 1991. Collins played for the Colonels for four seasons and hasn’t changed.
