Berryman’s takes you back in time

I love to eat and try new places.
Tonight, I tried Berryman’s in Mount Sterling for the first time and came away impressed. The place has been in business since 1961 and resembles a restaurant from time yesterday.
The menu includes burgers, chicken, fries, milkshakes and known for their chili dogs. I ordered a double cheeseburger, fries and a diet coke. The inside features a spacious dining area with memorabilia from yesterday, taking you back to the old days. I loved it.
While eating, a gentleman and his father made their way to a table and the man a phone call. “We’re at Berryman’s getting a chili dog.”
They ordered four and if I had room for extras, I would have gotten one. Next time you’re in Mount Sterling, visit Berryman’s. You won’t regret it.
It’s 20 minutes until tipoff in the 10th Region finals between George Rogers Clark and Mason County.
