Rogers to join Cousins

Andrew Rogers served drinks to campers during a basketball camp at the Winchester YMCA Tuesday.

The plans haven’t been finalized, but George Rogers Clark graduate Andrew Rogers will be working for former University of Kentucky standout DeMarcus Cousins in the immediate future.
Rogers, a former student manager at Kentucky under Billy Gillispie and John Calipari, is expected to sign a formal contract in the next couple of weeks. Rogers was helping George Rogers Clark assistant boys basketball coach Robbie Graham at the Scott Humphrey Basketball Camp today at the Winchester YMCA. Rogers was serving drinks to campers in the concession stand.
Rogers and Cousins became friends last season and both were in attendance during the 10th Region finals at The Fieldhouse in Mason County last spring. Cousins was drafted as the fifth overall pick in the first round of the NBA Draft by the Sacramento Kings.
