UK Basketball: Wazoo bringing back blasts from the past

Wazoo Sports will broadcast a Wazoo Classic Christmas Day Marathon on the Wazoo Sports Network featuring the University of Kentucky Wildcats and the Louisville Cardinals. The marathon will consist of nine classic games from past NCAA Tournaments. If you are a sports fan in Kentucky, there will be no other lineup that will rival the Wazoo Classic Christmas Day Marathon.
As part of the marathon, both Louisville Cardinals NCAA Championship games from 1980 and 1986, as well as the two recent Kentucky Wildcats NCAA Championship games from 1996 and 1998 will be shown. Wazoo Sports will also be airing the 1992 and 1998 Kentucky vs. Duke Elite Eight NCAA Tournament Games featuring a special Christmas Day present from the staff at Wazoo Sports.
“If most Kentucky fans could have a Christmas wish relating to Kentucky Basketball, they would change the ending to the 1992 UK vs. Duke Game,” says 1998 NCAA Final Four MVP, Jeff Sheppard. “We at Wazoo Sports are going to make this wish come true!”

Noon — 1992 NCAA Elite Eight (UK vs. Duke)
2:30 p.m. — 1998 NCAA Elite Eight (UK vs. Duke)
4:30 p.m. — 1998 NCAA Final Four (UK vs. Stanford)
6:30 p.m. — 1998 NCAA Championship (UK vs. Utah)
9 p.m. — 1986 NCAA Championship (Louisville vs. Duke)
11:30 p.m. — 1980 NCAA Championship (Louisville vs. UCLA)
2 a.m. — 1996 NCAA Elite Eight (UK vs. Wake Forest)
