Wasson leaving UK

Aaron “Pooh” Wasson is headed to the West Coast.
Wasson, the equipment director at the University of Kentucky, has accepted the title of Director of Equipment Operations position at the University of Oregon. Wasson is a graduate of George Rogers Clark High School in Winchester.
Wasson wrote on his Facebook page that he’s excited about the move.
“As tough as it is to leave Lexington and UK, Bonnie and I are really excited about this opportunity and what the future holds.”
Former Kentucky associate athletics director Rob Mullens is the athletics director at Oregon.
