George Rogers Clark forward Vinny Zollo re-opened his options for college last summer and is gaining a lot of interest from big-time college programs.
Zollo, who verbally committed to Kentucky more than a year ago, re-opened his commitment after Billy Gillispie was fired last spring. The decision to re-examine his future has prompted several schools to take a look at the 6-foot-8 forward.
Among the schools with their eyes on Zollo include Duke, top-ranked Kansas, West Virginia, Notre Dame, Oklahoma State among several others.
Zollo hasn’t ruled out playing for the Wildcats either. Zollo, who has averaged a double-double in each of the team’s first three contests this season. Zollo likely won’t make a decision on his future until sometime next year.
For now, Zollo is exploring his options and e getting the most out of his junior season.
